You can by spinner bait in all different shapes and sizes and even with more than one blade. Jig Jigs are lead head baits with a hook. They have different kinds of dressing like rubber skirts, Maribou, eathers or Bucktail. Some Jigs are also made of soft plastic body. Meat pieces, frogs, or worms are most commonly used for fishing with jigs. Jigs are most effective in areas with dense thick cover.
Jerk baits Jerk baits are usually used in top water or suspended bass fishing. Jerk baits look like long plugs in the shape of minnow. The suspended ones can dive deeper and are usually considered to be better because of that. Jerk baits make use of stop and jerk technique which helps in catching the bass. Back Cast The word Back Cast refers to that part of the cast where the fishing rod and fishing line is made to move towards to the back of the person angling. Barb The word barb refers to a sharp pointed end that is made use of to grab an already hooked bass fish.

Depth finder Depth finder or Sonar is used in bass fishing to track water or depth. It operates through electrical impulses which are sent to transducers where they are converted into sound waves. The sound waves reflect back objects and are received by the transducer, which echoes back to the sonar unit. The time difference in sending the signal and receiving the echo is converted into depth reading in feet. Catch and release The term catch and release means hooking a fish, weighing it and then releasing in tank water to restore to its normal senses and later return it to lakes or ponds from where they were caught. Bass fish is a hardy species, which is why the method is commonly used in bass fish tournaments.
